Al Gore doesn't care. Apparently his house is quite energy inefficient.

Al Gore was brought in for a hearing before the case goes to court, 30 environmental scientists (with support from over 1000 more ina sign up sheet) have brought up a class action suit against Gore and the studios that made an inconvenient truth, in a sense they claim that all that was said in it is beyond fantasy and misinformation, they are wanting public apologies and ammendments to the film

that is just in USA, similar cases are pending in both the UK and Brazil against them, thing is, you cannot claim a fiction film as a documentary which is what they have done

Mattk 02-13-2009 03:54 AM

^The standing decision in the UK is not that the film is fiction, but contains nine errors, mainly exaggerations. It cannot be distributed in schools without an information sheet to guide the pupils through the political bias contained within the film. The claimant had wanted the film supressed altogether. The verdict favours the claimant more, but it was held that the film was based on scientific fact. It's a documentary, just not a very good one.
