What will be the effect of the economic crisis on the motorsport/aftermarket industry?
|
Well, Honda have just dropped out of F1, see Autocar.co.uk and I think there was a thread on here too.

Le Mans 2009 Test Day's been cancelled. Teams only have a practice just before the race.
Motorsport and aftermarket? Why don't we have two different discussions? Oh and Audi pulled out of ALMS completely. |

Probably the last economic crisis. It's a pattern. When there is an economic downturn, people spend less money on everything. From litigation to fixing up cars, things just slow down. They'll be back; they won't just go away forever.

^Well, yes, because it costs money, and nowadays, a lot of people have less money. When the economic cycle gets on the up again, everything picks up.
