Indy Racing catfight: Danica Patrick vs. Milka Duno

Fight! Fight! Fight!

LEXINGTON, Ohio — Roger Penske came up with a surprising strategy Sunday that Ryan Briscoe turned into his second IndyCar Series victory, but the buzz was still on Saturday's confrontation between Danica Patrick and fellow female IRL driver Milka Duno.
After finishing a practice run and getting out of her car, Patrick quickly walked to where Duno, the only other woman racing here this weekend, was pitted and argued with the less experienced driver about getting in her way several times during the practice.
The altercation lasted only about a minute, but witnesses said it grew heated and that Duno flung a towel in Patrick's direction at one point as the two exchanged words. Patrick eventually walked away.
Patrick, who has previously confronted fellow drivers Briscoe and Dan Wheldon after racing incidents, brushed off the latest dustup, saying, "I just wanted to know if she saw me out there."
Duno was not immediately available for comment.
Funnily enough, the winner, Ryan Briscoe crashed into Patrick earlier in the season and walked over to his pit to have a "word". Unfortunately, the staff blocked her from getting there.

Milka Duno also has a feud with actress Ashley Judd, wife of former Indy driver Dario Franchitti. Judd often criticized her for being slow and dangerous around the track.

Danica quickly gained her head about her... but still, it is a huge insult to call another professional driver slow (even though Milka is definitely a rolling chicane).

nice video :)

Miss Patrick needs a reality check from the IRL officials about who is responsible for overseeing driver's racetrack behavior. A stiff penalty or fine might go a long way in teaching her a lesson in when and how to address these issues. Her team manager or owner must be wrapped around her finger for even allowing this behavior to continue unchallenged.

^Even still, you don't fling a towel (or anything) at someone's face, no matter how angry you are. That's extremely rude.

yeah just give them a slight 'nudge' ;)

Danica, ugh. High maintenance car and driver...

I think Danica has some personal issues. Lots of drivers have problems with other drivers but they don't go around getting in their face and complaining. You're right Svenska, flinging a towel is not the appropriate response.
I'm sure there are more than a few IRL people that are getting downright sick of Danica and her antics. Would be better to make the news based on good on-track performance rather than your tantrums blaming someone else for your lack of it.
