The car was Team Oreca Matmut's Courage-Oreca LC70 LMP1 car. The driver, Stephane Ortelli, "only" suffered a broken ankle.

Holy Shit! I wonder if he got a puncture, because it looks like he just suddenly veered off track when traveling in a straight line. Glad to hear the driver is OK.

Wow what a close call for that other driver. Glad he made it out ok. Reminds me of this crash that happened this year in NASCAR.
