Euro-Focus finally coming to America
 

Finally, the European Focus will be available in the United States. I just find it odd that they're still doing it after it's been out for so long. (2010 will be the 6th model year of this style in Europe)

Technically, that's not true. It just means that the next Focus will be international. That means no MK. II Focus RS for us, still. ;-)

I cant stand that there is no focus rs in the US. it would sell. if people buy the srt4 neon, they would so buy a RS.

and now the srt4 caliber. please ford save us!

Dang, you're probably right. There'd be no reason to bring over the other focus after more than 5 model years. This isn't really news then. Blah.

At least it's "confirmed", and if it retains the FoMoCo C1 platform, it'll be as good as the current European Focus, probably better. :mrgreen:

We are going to get the RS, and ST models ;) adittionally, We are going to get the Mondeo ;)

I just can't see Ford homologating the current European Focus just for the RS and the ST when the next one is just couple of years off. :?:

...unless they can convince the government that the Focus can be considered a variation of the S40, like I said before. ;-)

If you do a search on importing cars and homologation on this forum, you'll see a lots of threads with lots of disappointed people. :-(

we are not getting the current "ST" model... world wide production starting with the next generation ;) .... at which point, the new RS will be here, and there at the same time

Yeah... We don't have anything with the VAG A0 platform in this country, I don't think you can drive it here.
