Double Cluch
Hey guys... please tell me how to double cluch in a manual car/stick shift ....period.
|
Push in the clutch, put the car in neutral, release the clutch and then push it in again and put the car in neutral. You don't have to do it in modern cars. I believe they still do it to downshift in trans-am cars. However, it is fun to do when you're bored.

^ Dont u mean, as u r traveling along in gear and want to downshift, you dip clutch, put into neutral, release clutch, blip throttle to rev match, dip clutch, put into lower gear then release clutch. It should slip into gear easier than before, even if you do have a modern car. But as has been said, its pretty pointless.
However rev matching and heel and toeing on the downshift is a very benificial thing to do as it will prolong the lefe of youe clutch, drivetrain etc. |
do a search guy - has been explained several times before :D
|
Yes, rev matching, so you don't f-up your clutch. sorry
|
thats the syncos that u are messing up my not matching RPM's
i dont think its a huge thing to worry about unless u are aiming to put 200kmiles on a tranny |
Try http://www.bmwm5.com/greg/school/ there are videos there that explain a variety of driving techniques. The site is limited to 10 dowloaders at a time so you have to keep trying.
