Stardust and Invasion
 

Saw Stardust and Invasion this weekend. Both were very good with Stardust the better of the two.

Stardust is sort of an English fantasy comedy. I didnt realize it was a comedy, which really helped it rise above movies like Eragon. Robert De Nero is hilarious as the Pirate captian. Aaarrgh.

Invasion was a good remake of the Body Snatchers. Here they made it a little simpler, no pods having to be hauled about. A spore from space does the trick and just takes over your mind.

I could watch Niclole Kidman all day so I was going to like this movie. Her romantic lead was the new James Bond who did a good job. A little too everything wrapped up in a neat box for my taste, which kept it from being the better film.

Sturdust would be nothing without Jabba :D :P Gotta see it soon.

Everybody who has seen it has been blown away... Highly recomended film! Lets kick it up to more then just 26M... the film easily cost 3x that just with the names in the movie... great acting BTW :)

Did anyone else read Stardust? It was a pretty good book so I am looking forward to the movie.
