Definetely doesnt look like either was pushing very hard but then again. Ive driven both of these cars and I never understood why the focus handles so much better than Fords so called "sports car"

Well - from my vantage point the last Mustang that was a true factory sportscar, was the 2000 Cobra R.. all the rest need varying amounts of work to make them properly sporting ;)

There is no Ford Sports car, it is a Pony car, or a Muscle car, or a girls car depending on what form (V8, V8 supercharged, v6 respectively)

the Ford GT was a super sports car.

Because the ford focus is well kown to have a top class chassis.
