cooperluke 07-31-2007 05:37 AM

Perhaps not intentional, but a bit racist... I think it depends on the eyes who see it... :D

gangajas 07-31-2007 10:32 AM

No, genetically blacks are better than whites for running. Well, not only they are better at running but....

I have heard the new Geico inspired Neandrethal sit-com had to be reshot as someone said it was racist. The Neandrethals were being used as metaphors and therefore it was racist.

There could possibly be some concerns, but it's not racist. The blokes in the ad just happen to be black.

Pokiou 08-01-2007 02:09 AM

well considering all the men are in running tops.. NO.

I bet the photographer must have at least chuckled once to himself...

I didn't see that Intel has already apologized, been away on vacation in PR and chose not to waste my day reading tech/gadget blogs ;)

For the record, I don't think it's racist, just silly. Amazing how at some of your reactions to the threads title though :P

All those sprinters are black, bowed in submission to the one white man in the picture? Got to question the motives of the guy who set up that picture - reflects an "all they're good for is sport" mentality. Distinctly dodgy if you ask me

dutchmasterflex 08-14-2007 11:21 AM
