If that isnt the biggest link i've ever seen.

8 minutes lap. I was expecting the regular car to post a low 8 min lap not the Z06.

It is some 18secs slower than Magnussen's (?) lap. I wonder why there is so much difference. The track is dry as the sun is low on the horizon with lower temps, I am guessing the engine is making good hp.

I think if Mags drove the other hyper cars for Sport Auto we would see even better times for them. The Mag Factor! 8)

Sport auto arent showing their flying lap ;)

and yes, thats why Magnuson, and Rohl are simply eons better and more suited for a true flying lap on NS.

also, isn't the Z06 supposed to be twitchy, and uncontrollable on NS? that lap looked extremely smooth to me... not a bit of countersteer, and hardly any throttle balancing...

an easy lap in a C6 Z is 8:00 minutes

No such thing as an easy 8min lap around NS

Yeah, no kidding. Show me an everyday track junky that can get times factory drivers/racers are getting on the NS.

Sure, an 8 minute lap of NS isn't easy... but for this driver, he was taking it easy.. running at 9/10 in what may have been a warm up lap... as obviously, the timed lap that HvS ran was still 13+ seconds quicker ;) I dono about you, but 13 seconds is A LOT, and that taped lap was "taking it easy" for somebody like HvS
