Wow, great find. Didn't know they did stuff like this with WRC cars. Reminds me of that Off Road truck game on the NES.

Would be amazing to see them do this with today's WRC cars! Nothing would be better than to see Gronholm and Sebastian head to head!

They are modern day versions of the group b rallycars nothing like a wrc car
And most engines in rallycross div 1 have more than 500 hp.

Yes for years i went to the european in valkenswaard august 2006.
very spectuclar racing awesome to watch it's called rallyracing these days.
And i believe they do it in the usa as well nowdays.

Ive seen the Rally-Cross at Valkenswaard too, its on the Eurocircuit and the cars participating are mostly Ex-WRC car stripped out, so pretty extreme!

This, I would love to do, it looks like it would be much cheaper to do than stage Rally and you could hold an event almost anywhere, like Supermotard bike racing. Brilliant! Spectators would love it and that would bring sponsors. I bet it makes for some great drivers too, all that close-quarters racing..nice. I want to try it!

What they cal "RallyCross" in the US is lame. It is Autocross (kind of like Gymkhana) in the dirt... a poor substitute for the real thing.
Let's gather some money and build some proper "Rally Cross" tracks like in this video. Once the word is out, it'll be a hit here in the states as long as it doesn't get banned :P
