Keeping their Licenses?!

How do people who race in the Gumball keep their licenses. 12 tickets, doing 100+, and you live in America? Wouldn't they take your license away the second all those things got processed?

they probably can afford really good lawyers

kramerman 01-11-2004 11:41 PM

I think I read in some other forum that because they all use international licenses thats why they can get away with it. For those americans that are driving fast.. well.. they just hope like heck that they dont get caught if not then its a night in the slammer possibly... heh

Cops should just worry about the drivers that are weaving in and out of lanes, they are the people that are the biggest threat, who cares if your chilling in the left lane doing 120+

huh I care... prolly 95% of all drivers care, go speed on a race track if ya wanna. I even hope ya trash it and learn to fear for your life. :o

im one of the 5% =)

Way to be a downer X-ale you go on the Gumball Rally to speed and have fun racing across the country not do the speed limit

blah 01-12-2004 01:28 AM

I dont care if you speed, hell i think the speed limit should be 90. The problem is driver error, people not able to handle their cars at anyspeed. I think there should be tiered licenses, if you get a certain level you can drive at what ever speed ont he highway, and certain roads.

Some of the people on the American gumballs have lost their licenses while in the race, i.e. going at above the maximum speeding fine limit.

Which is better than some of the people in the European gumball, who lost their cars...

people in america have lost their cars. Remember anything above 100 is wreckless driving. infact a M3 was confiscated i believe in california..

Because it is quite possible that a car would pull in front of you and then both of you would be toast, cause at 120+ people can't really see you come up that fast.

There are people out there that are asses and won't let anyone pass them and they will cut you off.
