Jan 24 2007: Jordan F1 wheel and brake disk
I got some race worn F1 parts from the 1996 Jordan F1 car today.
the car: http://www.gaffersports.com/motorspo...autos/2512.php Right wheel: I have what seems to be the right rear wheel. I believe it is forged magnesium made by O.Z racing. http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/2...83302xv.th.jpghttp://img265.imageshack.us/img265/4...83323wm.th.jpghttp://img265.imageshack.us/img265/2...83298an.th.jpg It is very light - weighs about 9 lb http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/6...83346oi.th.jpg I think I am going to use the wheel as the base of a glass coffee table :) Carbon brake disk Jordan had Brembo calipers and SEP carbon disks/pads. I got one disk brake. It weighs about 1.5 lb http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/5...83356jh.th.jpghttp://img265.imageshack.us/img265/4...83388cz.th.jpghttp://img265.imageshack.us/img265/7...83377yq.th.jpg |
Cool! Did you find these in a junkyard or what? :P

Awesome F1 wheel ;)
A friend of mine has a old Racing BBS wheel from a Porsche back in the 80's and uses it as a base for a glass table. I always wanted to do something like that. |
