My friends 10sec WRX - vids
 

This thing is insane, completely built from scratch Cosworth 2.5L running a Trust TD06-25g Turbo at about 30psi (~2 bar) on an MY03 WRX.

Dynoed at just under 500hp at the wheels (700+ at the flywheel) and runs the 1/4 mile in 10.9seconds, so thats 0-210kmh in 10.9sec. :shock:

This past weekend we had a car show for the local WRX club (we won best club and I place top 5 in both driving events out of 500 cars) and we went for a spin down the track.

Bloody insane accleration, more brutal than the GT2 or Murci for sure....you don't even think about whats happening, its just a blur. Sounds brilliant too.

Lots of cars so not much room to accelerate but here are 3 short vids....

Haha, the guy infront in a G35 (guy we know) turned on his hazards (street racing technique of saying you won a race) when we didn't overtake him. Thing is we weren't allowed too and he got a huge headstart and was run down. ;)
