MEMBERS HD SETUP: Samsung 26" (update 11th feb,page 2)

Well not so much a setup right now,my only main use of a HDTV right now is the xbox 360,seen as its in my room the size of the TV is the perfect size.in the near future there will be a HD DVD player added, more than likely the xbox 360 add on and then a new cabinet to hold everything along with a new surround sound system,im actually looking right now for a good surround sound system at a good price. :D

here are a couple pics, one showing the TV and then showing what the xbox 360 looks like on it with a few games, for the size of the TV,the quality is pretty good IMO.not up there with the likes of Jabbavision :P or even RC's....i must admit, quite amazing TV  :P

cheers mate.if your after one check out play.com,thats were i got mine from they sellin the samsung ones at a very good price.i know it aint hardcore but then again i dont have a house able to hold a home cinema, lol plus this is in my room, which isnt a huge size so fitting a 42 inch version or bigger would have been a bit silly..........funny.....but silly, lol

for my room its a perfect size, brings the xbox 360 alive and as i said the future will bring HD DVD which hopefully could be end of the month and surround sound,so that should be a nice setup for my room. :D

gis 01-22-2007 06:41 AM

Jabba 01-22-2007 07:10 AM

Yeh, and I have been online a few times without any problems. I downloaded about 10 backup games now and all work fine, if you get yours modded let me know, and if you want I will put them on discs for you (DL'S are not that expensive these days).

what did you have to do to yours to get it modded to play the DL games? I just bought a 2-year warrenty so its not like its gonna happen anytime soon :(

Copy the original firmware of the xbox360 samsung drive, copy some unique ID details from that firmware, enter those details into the hacked firmware, reflash the drive with the hacked firmware, finished !

It all sounds so easy, and so tempting. I just dont want to void the warrenty incase she goes cablamie again :(

Where did you get the ability to copy the firmware and change it and such. I'm new to this whole thing (obviously) and only have one friend with a hacked XBOX (original).
