Hah. I just watched that. It's a good choice but I thought it was just the "fastest car" award and not the "fastest car a lot of people could reasonably buy" award.

I think it's a nice award to the effort made by Chevrolet with this car!! :D

Ok... if I had the money I'd choose one of the other two, probably the 911, but, nice award!

I love the new Z06 and I respect their choice, but its great mostly on the track, not the road. I'd go with Porsche as the best all rounder.

Sad to report that RC has died and gone to heaven after viewing this ;)

Yeah, I also think the prize should go to the 997TT. It's the most complete package because it can be used everyday, yet can also be mild when you want it to. It's very reliable, well built, maybe the interior is slightly boring but it's not a sea of plastic like the Z06.

I'm suprised, I figured they would pick the 911 Turbo. But wow, yay for the ZO6

you have no idea how bored i am with porsches (except for the gt3)...when i read an article about porsches i already know what they're gonna say....flat six this flat six that, poise this and poise that, balance this and feedback that...and absolutely everyone in europe has one...they're just not exciting anymore...which is why im glad the corvette won

clarkson says the vette is rubbish on the road...but then again he likes to make things seem bigger than they really are...and he'll try to slack anything off thats not british

And once again, the Z06 won. It's a winners car!

They admitted they awarded it to the 'biggest surprise' car! What? The award was not for biggest surprise? But anyway, the show is absolute crap most of the time and I don't value their opinion.

Cannot understand anyone choosing the 'Porch' 911 Turbo over the 599!!!! If money was no object, you have got to be kidding!

I guess they must disagree with evo's 4th place rating for the Z06...
