I saw this soon after it was released. Not the most believable of plots, nor the most realistic of stunts, but hell it was a visually impressive spectacle!

didn't like that they use a A8 4.2 with a W12 emblem i the grille..

Mattk 12-18-2006 05:38 AM

I actually preferred the 7-series he used in the first movie.

Stoopie 12-18-2006 05:56 AM

I love the stunts they did with the A8 :D Therefore, good movie :P

Yeah, my favourite was the one where he flipped the car to hit a crane hook, thus pulling the bomb off it.

Stoopie 12-18-2006 06:16 AM

^ Yep, my favourite as well :D And mostly because of it being very realistic. Honestly.

Mattk 12-18-2006 06:19 AM

Well it's not as if it couldn't have happened in real life. Just very very very very unlikely.

Mattk 12-18-2006 06:52 AM

^No it doesn't. I remember it being dusty and scratched. But hey, cars nowadays can take lots of punishment. Good advertisement for Audi.

Mattk 12-18-2006 08:11 AM

Hmm, maybe you're talking about the earlier chases. It was certainly damaged towards the end. In any case realism often needs to be transcended to create entertainment. Having the guy keep having to find new cars because he trashes all of them is a bit dull.

Mattk 12-18-2006 08:33 AM

Is the scene after the kid goes to the doctor? Yeah, the damage was a bit too slight after that, I agree, but it was still dusty. :?

No, it was like brand new. Cars might be able to take lot's of punisment, but in that movie it was totally unrealistic.
