Once again....I still say BMW better step it up on the new M3. If they dont, its gonna look pretty odd with the new line of cars coming out.

This will not be competition for the M3.

Even with 500 hp, the shelby gt500 is only as fast as the new 335i from BMW.

Mustangs don't handle at all and 0-60 sucks for that much power because they weigh too much. Mustang isn't a good comparo with a BMW, especially not the new M3 which will no doubt blow any production mustand out of the water, but the new M3 will also cose 20K than these mustangs.

The two cars aren't in the same bracket for comparison, price, performance, or otherwise.

But still the Mustang seems like a bargain compared to the other cars, then again it is less car :|

I totally agree.

You get what you pay for though. With BMW, owners may pay a bit of premiun for the name, but the build quality, interior comfort and material quality, reliability, and driving experience is second to none.

IMO the BMW is worth the extra money. You gat all the performance, a better engine, better reliability, and a car that can handle the track just as easily as the street.

The same can't be said for a Mustang.

do you know how to read? it says Bullitt and Boss 302 for 2007. And the Bullitt will look the part I'm sure and will be just as limited as the run they did a few years ago (real ones are harder to find than clones) and they will have more go aswell.

Well, truth be told, the Ford V8 will stand a lot more abuse than the Beemer I6 anyday.

My buddy is a mustang freak and over the years he has had a lot of problems with the cars. Engine issues that is.

Not to mention they don't go in the snow.

Snow is only a problem for someone who is too afraid to try it I drove the shit out of my T-bird in the snow for 4 years without any problem. and my engine lasted me 180k of beating the shit out of it before she died of an over-rev on my part.

I guess they just don't make them like they used to.

well the newer specs of my engine are actually better in terms of strength although they still use those shitty hypereutectic pistons other than that they are pretty good engines, no Honda 4cylinder or SBC but a good engine no doubt.
