vw?
hi i have a question
what do you think about vw in general and what is your opinion about the golf mk2 reliable yes or no? |
i've a golf 4 tdi ,it's very good car.my father had a golf 2 gtd and it was a great car!!! 400.00km 18 years !!!i think that i will buy a new golf :D i'd like a passat
for diesel engine the vw haven't nothing to know, the tdi is great engine! for gasoline engine i think that are more expensive than honda or toyota and are not so good as hp |
Well, they are gonna fit the Cayenne with one of their V6's...and that sucks real bad. That's why I'm not too fond of this car manufacturer, although I like the Phaeton.

mk2 golf GTI 16v my dad had, reliable,id say so got to 92k miles on the clock when the car suddenly started havin problems,we did between 3-4k miles on it when he bought it then little problems started happenin,we took it to the garage to have it checked and there exhuast had started havin a hole in it,very small, just started happenin and the timing belt was shot,so they took them off,and beleive it or not, they were the same parts from when the car left the factory 14 years earlier, original exhaust and original timing belt all 92k miles put on them and only just went..........thats pretty reliable IMO

well I think there's absolutely nothing special to thing about VW, it's just another car producing compony. They are reserved in design and have pretty good diesel engines, that's about everything :D

Well VW doesn't make bad cars. But for a a VW just misses some 'magic', there far to normal in my opinion.
Apart from that, I have a problem with the car politics of the VW Group. They just buy everything and make the new cars of these brands to much VW. Like Seats and Skoda's, their interior is just like a VW (although it's changing). And the new lambo's: their interior doesn't feel that Italian. It's more Germanised which throws away a part of the magic about those cars. And then there is the Bugatti Veyron 16/4, it's over-exaggerated. They just wanted to have over 1000 hp, so they've come up with 1001 hp. The hole concept about that car is just that 'to much', in my opinion. |
VW = Europe's version of Ford
Audi = Lincoln/Mercury (of Ford) I'm not sure what the exact relationship is between Audi and Porsche other than familial, but they've been known to share common parts, entire engines, and now chassis as well. , |

And about VW - it's really hard to find more boring cars than VW. The quality isn't very good either. There's been MAJOR quality problems with Passat. '97-'99 Passats were a nightmare for VW. And Passats still has a lot of problems. |
My mom's Golf is a really good car and the thing goes pretty damn quick. (modified)

For me vw have really good cars, specially the diesel engines. I have one in a Seat Ibiza, with 162,000 kms. Never had problems at all, the only problems are common to every car. Pieces that needs to the be changed at a certain kms.
The rest is, start and go. About the gasoline engines, they suck a little. Japs are the best in gasoline engines. |

the VW toureg and porsche cayenne are on the same chassis. |
I hate VW, i will never buy any of their products. They are just so girlish, theres nothing manly about a VW. Id rather have a SRT-4 than a golf. And id rather have a honda over a VW passat, or jetta. and id rahter have a BMW over a Phaeton. i think the saddest thing is, VW oqwns all those companies and still doesnt turn as much profit as ford or toyota, or Dodge.
