If you can’t want a few more years for the rumoured Bugatti sedan, LEW Design of Germany will build the next best thing – out of a Bentley Continental GT. The LEW “Big Bang” (silly name, that) gains a front design with the famous Bugatti grille, Touareg-esque headlights, and large 21” Aero-X style rims. Changes to some of the body panels were also made to lighten the car, with carbon fibre being used extensively.

The rear reminds us of the Ferrari 599 and even comes with same underbody venturi ducts that help improve downforce. That’s important because they’ve also increased the power. The big four-seater now develops 650hp and 750Nm of twist. Though no 0-100km/h times were listed, we expect it to be very close to the 4s mark. A new suspension kit and carbon-ceramic brakes round out the performance upgrades.

Touareg? I'd say Q7 headlights! Anyway, I think it's an ugly mix of styles..

The rear, especially the lights remind me the 612 rather than the 599, and while the front is too baroque, I actually wouldn't mind such car. I'd still take a Mansory over it, but there are definitely too many Conti GT, all of them looking alike, around, and this is for sure original and different.

Actually in the press pics it looks much better than it first seemed on the stand at the Essen motorshow IMO

So they slapped the Bugatti grille, the SLR wheels and the ass of the 612 Scaglietti...and those headlights look like they came out of a Q7. Well the whole package doesn't look that bad, but they combined to many elements from well known cars to make something respectable.

That's the first pizza 4 staggioni on wheels - they used all ingredients they could find!
Regarding that LEW was founded by one of Germany's biggest Bentley- and Lamborghini-Dealers, I'm waiting for some Lambo-parts on this car...

Well ... both bugatti and bentley are nothing more than uber VW tho

One "word": :puke:

The longer I look at the picture, the more I get convinced it's an Audi :? That grille, the headlights, the bonnet..

OMG another hideous looking mod  Who in the name of god would buy this thing?

TopGearNL 12-15-2006 06:31 PM

Fugly :fist: as hell

The normal continental GT looks astonishing compared to this...

taygunho 12-15-2006 06:40 PM

i was gonna say wow i like it definetely more than the regular bentley, until I saw the rear, i mean to get ideas from other companies is fine, but to just blatantly copy is unacceptable it looks like they grabbed a 612 Scaglietti and pasted it on the rear. Even worse is the fact it doesnt even go well and they coulda probably thought of somethin even better on their own.

ViperASR 12-15-2006 08:33 PM

I like the Q7 headlights, but the grill is a little much

McLaren4eVa 12-15-2006 08:45 PM

^^^ Still nice engine, why coould they not have simply tuned the the Continental GT by increasing power and using carbon fibre extensively. Oh and the name, The Big Bang, seriously, geez.
