I am not surprised about the SWB price - the "touring" versions bring prices between $0.9-1.2MM. The lightweight versions with competition history is worth more - say $2MM. The funny thing is that there a lot more Ferraris in the 1.5-2MM+ range - testa rossa, GTO, LM. P4, TdF, 312PB, Dayton Competizione, 333SP etc. Interestingly, the F1 cars are pretty cheap - you can buy a 312T4 for ~$600K but a PB with similar mechanicals will cost 3X as much. I think it is because the parts are near unobtainable couple with short lifespan of the parts :) The Deusenberg price is amazing though - it was $900k a few years back and now worth three times as much :shock: |
