Definitely cool for BMW to make the already amazing Inline-6 better by adding a great twin turbo system..

Z3uS 11-21-2006 11:14 AM

Cool, design is better than the last version, engine is more powerful...

Mattk 11-27-2006 02:36 AM

Styling is still a bit weird, but the ads all screaming "Twin Turbo" give it a cool vibe.

Cool!!

For me the new 3 series coupe is maybe the best car money can buy. Everything is good. It looks great, it has excellent engines with top technology, excellent handling, luxury, confort... it combines everything it a single car 8)

Uncool, it was parked in a street on a 5th Gear Episode and noone even looked at it, sorry but I want my car to turn heads :?

You wouldn't be saying that after having driven one.

I don't like when people make judgments based solely on a car's looks. Granted that a car's looks are ahuge part of it's appeal, but in this case, this is a great car for the money. The performance is there and the quality is there too.

Modibility for this car is very optimistic as well.

Plus...I just ordered one. That automatically makes it cool.

Mate, the Cool Wall is based solely on looks. Ever watch Top Gear?

taygunho 11-28-2006 07:58 AM

I voted cool. But honestly I don't like the rear design.

exactly!!

Which is exactly why it is UNCOOL.

Too wide, too long, doesn't look "sporty". All the previous 3 Series coupes always look "sporty", this looks like a smaller 6 Series. Trunk/Book lid is too long, the proportions just aren't right.

And what's with the elongated taillights? Looks like that should be on a luxo sedan. Just terrible.

Oh and the interior is soooo boring. My god, probably one of the worst interiors of all new cars. BMW should learn a thing or two from Audi.

Like most of the newer BMWs, take off the badge and kidney grills, you would not distinguish it from anything that is Japanese. (Or leave the kidneys and it looks like a Pontiac ;) .)

Give them credit for the engine and I love the inline 6, but again, this is about looks and this car looks terrible for a 3 Series.

I've seen them on the road, but unless you know what you're looking at, you don't notice them.

But they're f-in quick, quicker than the M3. I ran into one this weekend on the fwy, and 30-120 we were dead even. If I was still stock, he would've hosed me. And I can take M3s pretty easily now.

It was only after I let him pass me that I noticed that it was a 335i. Looking at it's front in my rearview mirror, I thought that it was just a 3 sedan.
