how can 360 CS be sooo much slower then the 996GT3rs :?
im happy to see the CCR up there :mrgreen: |
surprised at how the 360 challenge stradale did so bad?

Same day/same driver/same location? ;)
One thing I have now learned while prepping cars for test and telemetry gathinging is this.... ...without a doubt and without question - automobile performance is 100000000000000% driver, with a lot of influence from the ambient conditions. :) So, other than engine power measured on a dyno where you publish corrected numbers - numbers normalized for standard temperature and pressure, and possible drag strip time slips, where again, numbers are normalized to a standard temperature and pressure (although, unlike dynos, driver and actual ambient conditions make all the difference) and "published list" s purely academic and makes for "fun" bench racing. So, in the spirit of that list, I am sure given the same cars I could beat those times :P ;) hehe |
Isn't there a part missing here ????
Can't find a Ruf 8) :wink: Cheers |

...and for the record neither of those cars is that qucik anyway ;) :P |
@RC yep ... absolutly right ...
the best way to see the cars potential is when the test drivers take them to the track on the very same day :? :lol: edit :: offcorse they are not fast as the cars you are playing arround with these days :lol: .. ruf's, vector, CGT etc etc LOL .. :P |

Some of the times are great, some are not so great. I still think it was worth posting 8) |

Hopefully the RT12 gets in the test soon :D |
Indeed 5.7 V10,
At first I thought I had missed it :) Because what's a test like this without a Ruf :-) Like you said, I'm curious about the RT12 as well, can't stop watching the video of that 650 bhp monster at the ring on youtube :-) Cheers |
Quote:
I know the video you're talking about, i've watched it a couple of times 8) Seeing as the Techart GT street lapped the 'Ring in 7:43, i'd say the RT12 is capable of under 7:40. |
Well, I wouldn't dare to guess when it comes to the RT12 :-)
I remember reading an article about Ruf, they handed the spec list of the CGT over to the big cheese of Ruf automobile. After looking at the figures he replied with "well that's a slow car" :lol: 8) And then the RT12 came along. So, 5.7 V10 If you have seen the vid of the GT street before then you have probably seen the vid where it hits the barrier as well ?! Also availible on youtube. Cheers |
