hey,
iw as driving around when i saw a ferrari and maserati dealership, i first saw a db9, the z06 and the quatroporte, so i turned around and drove around the "parking lot" to see the cars(it was raining so the pictures suk and i cidunt get out of the car)
here they are... i wont post all of them because of the raindrops in the window, they ruin the picture.:

Looks like a very nice stash of cars there, hopefully you'll be able to check them out again on a nicer day :)

The guys at the dealership are really nice - they will let you take pictures if you ask them first. There are quite a few F-cars in the Maserati section as well. The only thing they ask you is not post license plate info for the cars inside the barbed wire as they are customer cars.

Thats cool sameerrao, ill ask next time i go. And i saw many more cars in the barbed area, like a testarosa and a 360, but i didnt want to just drive in there... haha. its been the best collection of cars ive seen soo far!

I think it also depends on who is "covering the show room" that day - I have been there 2 different times, and a friendly - "May I take some photos" has been met with a "Sure - don't forget to take pics of that lovely 360CS " and a "No, please - no photos we don't allow that". ;)

Well - charm is one thing, but Ferrari of Houston does have the unfortunate reputation of being the worst Ferrari dealership int he world as far as customer service goes, and some local Houstonian quazillionaires actually spend more money to buy out of town there by not having to deal with Guiseppe locally ;)

But back to the charm... there is a subtle line between charm and sucking up.. :P -- I barely qualify for charm - sucking up is something I don't do :P

Actually the word among the guys in the Houston Ferrari club is that the Houston dealership is one of the best to buy at and service. Maybe a few people may have had a bad experience (including one Italian guy who has a Lambo too) as is the case with any dealership but there many more sing praises. :bah:

I have been to the dealership about 6 times in total and never had any issues with regards to taking pictures. I just let the sales guy up front what I am there for and 10 seconds later they allow me access. No sucking up as you surmise. It's as easy as that. Not sure why you got the cold shoulder though. Like I said maybe I look like the Ferrari fan to them. :P

G. Risi is a cool guy. I've met him once and chatted a few minutes with him - he was very gracious even though I dont look rich enough to throw business his way. I talked to him about his 512BBi and 275 which he owns and has on display at the dealership. He mentioned that those two are his babies and he will never sell them.

Hmmm. so far every one I have spoken has the opposite opinion... maybe I'm talking to the drivers vs the posuers ;)

Sweet oscargarza88! That dealership is really nice, and oscar you really need to go inside the dealer if you haven't already. And although it seems RC had a bad experience, when I went the guys were pretty friendly, and had nothing against me taking as many pictures as I wanted...which is all I really can ask when going to a dealer. :D

As I say - been there twice to take pictures and once they were ok and in fact were very welcoming and the the other time whom ever was in the showroom got all pissy and said no.

Perhaps they have begun to realize that customer relations start with the first visit.

Then again I didn't walk in shouting "I worship Ferrari!!" :P

^^^Maybe they got all pissy because you looked like a bum and they didn't want you to dirty up their cars. :mrgreen: ;)

There youy have it - Ferrari is all about posing and fake image.. ;)

Thankfully all the "real" Ferrari drivers I know are not Armani suit types - but down to earth real world people ... ;)

Or just keeping their cars clean...:P

Yes, most Ferrari drivers are not assholes, but cool guys...or at least the one's that I've met.
