BMI: Pontiac Solstice vs Mazda MX-5 (Willow Springs times)

I had read bad things about the Solstice in British magazines.... but it is faster than the Mazda:

Solstice: 1'35"69
MX-5: 1'35"91

it is a very good all-around car. but i have seen tests where the MX-5 is almost has a 1-2 sec lead. so its all on driver skill/style i guess. but they are very close on paper.

yeah all the test i have seen the miata was a bit faster on the track, but oh well, i guess which car is faster depends on the driving style of the driver!
