in my opinion, both Ferrari & Pininfarina can burn in hell.. ferrari are mocking ppl, they built their 6.0 engine and the story started in the ferrari Enzo, Then they dropped the same engine in the maserati MC12, then the FXX, then the Birdcage Concept and the MC12 Corsa.. and finally they put the engine in this, wth??
and the funny thing is, when they detuned the engine and dropped it in the 599 gtb, people were like WOW and no its not a detuned engine, its retuned :s while poor caterham when they retune their engines and put them in BGP so they produce less power ppl make fun & say detuned detuned!! they wanna make money in any way, all wat their doing is drawing few sketches, and say wola new car!! drop the enzo engine and put a hilarious tag price on it.. and people respect ferrari's and consider them as holly cars, and they believe that ferrari produce the best sport\racing cars on earth OMG!! can't you see wat ferrari is doing? they are done! ferrari is nothing @ the moment and they have no new idea's to introduce us with!! |
i like it. beautiful.

I agree completely with you.
|
I don't think you quite get it...
You've got some catching up to do. Read these first please. http://www.motorworld.net/forum/showthread.php?t=37751 http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=92754 Now, about your other point: what use is an Enzo engine with its hypercar characteristics in a grand GT like the 599 GTB? Ferrari wouldn't even be doing a proper job if they'd just shoehorned the Enzo engine in and left it like that. |
I remember a guy posting about this Enzo-special on fchat.
Looks a little to wierd IMO. I would have like to have seen the Masser Birdcage concept being made a reality. That is a much better looking car. Side-vents on this look awkward. And the re-hashed wheels look awful as they are so big  The rear-looks pretty menacing though. :good: I don't know why Ferrari have decided to produce the Enzo, and then the MC12 (and their racetrack counterparts), but surely this isn't too shocking :bah: Ferrari want to maintain a high-profile, while retaining exclusivity. For a new car in this day and age, can you get much more exclusive than a limited edition trackday car. IMO, the FXX is a bit of a lie. The clients won't really have much input into the Enzo successor, but it's a great way of getting factory support, and feeling close to a marque that one may have strong feelings about. It is the ultimate toy that a Ferrari-nut can buy himself. If you think "Ferrari are done", why not compare it to Porsche or Lambo as many perspective owners do. Porsche are making a cash-cow out of the Cayenne, and the 911 is selling mutiple times what Ferrari sells per annum. :bah: Lamborghini, on the other hand, are rumoured to have scrapped a Muira re-invention (a pretty lame idea IMO, anyway) and are instead rumoured to be getting ready to produce a 4x4/SUV, that will dilute the brand no end. The fact that Lambo is now allowing Audi to use it's V10 architecture in their saloons speaks volumes for the direction that Audi are steering Lambo in... Compare this to Ferrari's recent canning of a Dino-esque model, shunning potential huge profits and sales, and you can see that Ferrari value exclusivity. 8) |
People lose money in Auto manufacturing, and using the Ferrari V12 in different applications isnt something new.
I think that car looks gorgeous but those wheels are just plain dumb. |
it's a good engine no need to replace it just yet
|
Gorgeous car, great curves, beautiful stance, i love it. Those wheels fit the character of the car perfectly, the owner should be so proud, hes got the most exclusive ferrari yet with performace that will not be matched(at least until the Enzo successor) and it looks fantastic.
|
I wouldn't call it the most exclusive yet, it is afterall based on an Enzo :P
