We will most probably see a lot more of these cars come up for sale.

The novelty of a "track day only" car that you have little say in soon wears off.. especially to the super-super-rich who are used to using their stuff when they want, where they want and how often they want ;)

Puh...I don't want such a cheap car that almost every man can afford :?

now, seriously, wow that's expensive  imo to much, for all that money you'd better buy a regular enzo, and if it's still to slow mod it with that extra money and buy a few extra ferrari's or a big house :D

I dont think that has anything to do with it. I think the main reason behind selling it is the 2mil plus in profits they will make from turning it over. The F40's when they were released were turned over as quick as possible, but it was due to there increasing value at the time, not in the least bit rich owners getting bored. Hell, lets say they could drive it all they wanted, you think that theyd still take it out more then 4 times a year when you take into account all of these owners have at least four other ferrari's, plus only god knows what else.

If you guys read the FXX article I posted. Part of the money paid for this car is to drive it against other owners. That is one big reason to own this car. But get it by buying it after someone else already had all the fun competing? And at 3 mill? no way.

only if i had that kinda money...........

If I had 4-million to blow on a car, I'd snap it up in a heartbeat. That's a rather special Ferrari, and it's got a happy place in my heart.

For that money - you have the Veyron, a Zonda F Roadster, Gallardo Spyder, 997 Turbo, C6 Z06, Cayenne Turbo... and probably some extra cash for a Clio Williams and a E30 M3 Sport Evo as well

If I had 4 million for a car, you can bet your ass it's not the only car I'd have in my garage.

nickthaskater 09-03-2006 06:42 PM

Because I want it? Because to me it's a special car and I'd love to have one? That's all the justification that I need right there. If I had the money to throw around, I'd have no problem blowing 4 million on this, just as I'd have no problem blowing 10 million on a 250 GTO.
