shit! they sure are rare, it has to do with the fact that up here in the north the weather cant go as high as is can closer to the equator and thats what limits hail in this kind of size here.

Biggest ice balls I saw was probably the size of a small apple, those are a bit bigger probably. I'd run and cover my babe with my own body :D
