Futurama is coming back!

All I can say is it's about goddamn time. IMO, Futurama is one of the best cartoons out there. I can't wait for it to start!

HELL NO!...it's true the Simpsons have been around since forever, and I know they probably anounce the season finale quite soon...but I don't want them to go... :( it's like the only show I watch on TV now...

Hopefully the same people will be behind it, and not just a bunch of new people riding the series' name.

Either way, good stuff :)

Sipsons have been quite lazy now for a while. Weeks pass before a new episode is released. Dont you fear that means something?

i've stopped watching the simpsons ever since they became lazy in writing smart material. it's one nonsensical gag after another.

Check out the trailer

Unfunny and the animation looks pretty craptacular...

As for The Simpsons, they've been around for 17 years now, can't really blame them for running a bit dry in the creativity department haha.

evoWalo 06-23-2006 08:56 PM

it's just bender and gore talking. you expecting pxar to render em? for what the trailer was it was funny and did it in a simple manner with good writing

nickthaskater 06-23-2006 09:21 PM

Yes I'm expecting Pixar to render it

I meant it looked to be below the standards that the later episodes of Futurama had in terms of quality.

As for the humor, everyone has their own opinion obviously, and in mine it was rather dull and uncreative. I hope the actual series has better writing than that.

Hmmm. I dunno. I thought the series "finale" was pretty good ending for Futurama. You know, kind of cheesy, yet good feeling end.

evoWalo 06-26-2006 05:51 AM

the most satisfying ending is the seinfeld one. they all went to jail! bwahahaha
