RUF CTR vs Ferrari F40
|
Wow, nice, I expected a boring video but it's real highspeed Best Motoring action. Quite a difference at speed, the RUF seems so much more easy.
|
That's pimp. That F40 shifting in mid-bank is B-A-D-A-S-S!! :D I swear I heard some Star Wars sound effects right at the shift...?
|
WOW, I didn't expect that really :)
Is the RUF the Yellowbird out of GT4??? And did you notice how quiet it is inside the RUF, its the same in GT4, you think your doing 60, but you doing well over 100  |

put them on a track and we`ll see then  |
Which one was tuned?
|
^^^ the RUF, and don`t tell me that RUF it`s not a tuner but a producer , k ?

they built, what... 25 CTR's right? each one the same (more or less) costom aero work, costom wheel sizes, suspension.... all different then the 911 it came from they may not be a full blown PAG... but they are cirtainly more then just a tuner |
^^Did they PRODUCED the car ??? NO
They took an EXISTING car and they HEAVILY modified it It`s still a tuner job |
^^ :D actually .... Ruf like other TUNERS such as alpina, ACSchnitzer, Hartge get the body shell ... and a few parts .. the assemble the cars themselves THUS ProduCing them :) .....
yeh ... thats how it works :) ..... there was this topic sometime ago ...... i also thought they just tune the car ... but someone from JW(forgot his name  ) has been to the RUf factory :P and proved me wrong bigtimes  :? |

It is seems easier to be a ceritified as a manufacturer in Germany than else where.. Way to go hotchick69fattyslickdudebangersupremechicka |

And now again, as Alpina is also a manufacturer. |
so you get a car, you buy parts from different sources : lighter Mahle pistons, replace the steel con-rods with titanium ones , get some bigger turbines from IHI or KKK, put some bigger Brembo breaks, strengthen an already produced gearbox, add a bodykit (in-house made ?) and a all of a sudden you`re a producer.........interesting   |
