Who here is going to be 1 of 500 to own a 65K Desmosedici?
This bike will, to date, be the closest thing to MotoGP technology on the street. Sadly, I believe they are already sold out.

^^ Well - remember there were MotoGP replicas in the 1980's.. oh wait - you wouldn't remember :P ;)
NS400, RG500 and RZV500 come to mind - hopefully this will wake Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha up and incent them to do the same again... :) |
WOW!!! tha exhuast is insane!!! ^^^ agreed
i would what the track times are for that bike? have that babe run the 'ring and show up all the cars :) |
That's porn on two wheels
|
 Sensational! How awesome is that!
However, I still think the traditional Fourpulse V4 sounded better than the current Twinpulse V4 Desmosedici. |
That's seriously cool on the cool wall!

you were only alloweed to buy one if you already bought a 999r.. so non of us would qualify anyhow.
|
well well, good to see we have so many Ducati lovers around
@corpse, even if you have the 999R and the money , that doesn`t mean you could own an RR, because only 400 are going to be build :P |

Ducati has taken itself from being the "real mans bike" of the 70's to a poser piece of trash outside Starbucks in the last 10 years. They have simply cashe din ont he "boutique" nature of the brand and for that reason I dislike them immensly - I mean just how many "1 of a couple hundred" so-called limited editions can they come iup with - it is getting so predictable now - the only reason people are drooling all over this new hunk of crap is because it "looks cool"... ;) What ever folks - it is simply a street bike based on a racing chassis - that is NOTHING new at all :P The last Ducati I would consider owning is the 888... everything after that is packaged to appeal to poser crowd. And their racing success hasn't been much better ;) :P |
^^^^RC are you on crack ???? I wonder
SUPERBIKE rings a bell ? How about the results in MotoGP for a small producer with a low budget like Ducati those are more than acceptable. Grow up man |

The fact that the FIM alterered the rules 4 years in a row to to keep Ducati in the game - because they had zero chance of competing with the 750cc Japanese bikes? Or the fcat that Carl Fogarty's skill single handledly saved the failing and poor performing Ducati platform from failure? Quote:
It's only because the FIM again changed the rules to allow the Italians a chance. Quote:
