It's £5 a tub down at halfords now! (steer clear of the Go Slow Grease that's standard fit on all other cars though)

My mate whipped some on his John Deere tractory and managed to burn a dirty Porsche at the lights. That'll teach him to wash/polish his car more often.

when reading the thread you get the impression that he's indeed a retard.

But running on better fuel does help with a small engine.
My moms Yaris 1.0 69hp runs smoother since she only uses 98 instead of 95.

My family has used premium gas in their 4 cylinder toyotas their whole life.. now that gas is 3 bucks and up, we switched to regular..

The only tihng I noticed was that I was getting better gas mileage..


Only performance engines can benefit from using high octane..

I get a slight power gain in my weak 1.6 astra from using optimax and better milage. Its about 1 thing this plonker is right about, even if he does exzagerate it.

I'm really no expert, but I'm sure it helps.

When you accelerated from low rpm's in second gear when the engine was cold, it used to have a lot of difficulties, the power came on in one big lump. Allmost like it had a lot of turbo lag. But now it never does that anymore.

When I say

I meant, with regular 87 octane versus the 94 octane I've was using..
