Bikes In New GT4??????
 

As many of you know this years E3 has kicked off and i just wanted to clear up one thing, The next GT, after seeing some of the pictures there are a couple of pictures with motorcycles in. Does anyone else know about this, I figure it could be tru because polyphony have done tourist trophy.

I just saw the >1hour video of the press conference, and yeah, bikes WILL be there for sure. The game creator said so and showed a demo where you chose cars, the bottom part had bikes. The graphics on GT5 look like shiet. Almost the same as GT4. What a waste of time. PGR has better graphics. So dumb. Im still going to buy it, but it is a shame they didnt use the power of PS3 for that game.

Did they show already the final version DeMon? it woul be a major mistake to have PS2-like graphic on a major PS3 title.. there are still months of fine tuning afterall

Anyway cool to have both bikes and cars in the same game!

I'd sacrifice graphics for better AI and more competitors. Any chance that all that has been bumped up?

^^ Yeah, given that the PS3 is MONTHS away from release I can't see a GT game (which are one of the biggest selling series ever) not having "WOW" graphics. I just want to hear news of the next GTA game, as San Andreas was ace.

The E3 demo was just a higher textured GT4

I believe all that has been said on GTA4 is that it would launch on the same day for the Xbox 360 and PS3. It'll also launch the same day as Halo 3 apparently. I think it was said to be released in November, but dont' quote me on that.

There are bikes and cars, but can you race them simultaniously? GT5 is basically GT4, but running in high def, this means all the textures will be upgraded and so on. Im sure new cars and tracks will be there. Also I bet better sounds and so on.

Yeah thats i what i thought at first, but then having read an article about it, this is essentially gt4 with a few extras, definately not the final product.

Bikes and cars ey, will be interesting to see that. Will also be a good balance, because bikes will accelaerate faster but cars will turn quicker. Thank you for clarifying this up can't wait till the game is released.

True that. If they dont get Ferrari/Lambo/Porsche and graphics are as they are right now... the FUKING better get better AI and car damage. Their previous excuse was that they couldnt fit all that info on one DVD. With BluRay they have to. No words about that yet though. I did see the bikes on the video, but when he put on the game, he selected the track and selected DEMO instead of RACE so dont know.

Oh another thing, if those are upscaled GT4 graphics, then if they want to release "shortly after PS3 releases" as said on the conference, they have many men working on graphics alone. They said it would come out soon after the PS3 release date. So that means, either they are lieing about the release date and good graphics will come out, or they release as is (which would be dumb IMO... many peeps have not finished the game yet like me, and being first impresion of their ability on the PS3 is a BIG thing).

bullshit they couldn't fit it onto one dvd... a dual layer disc can be read by the PS2, and @ 8 gb..... no game i've ever played took up even 4 gb... not one! but not fitting in "more" because of time/money... that is another story

there are license stipulations that a car cannot be shown broken... so anything more then what PGR has is unlikely IMO

Just to clarify, no one has seen GT5 pics yet, nor are there any concrete details on it. What has been seen is GT4 (mixed with a little bit of Tourist Trophy) running on the PS3 software in High Def. It will be released on the PS3 as filler until GT5 is released.
