Great pics, what's the story behind that 300SL?

i actually had a chat with the owner. he has a few hotels in europe. I asked him about the ugly pait job and he said he had been looking for a 300sl for almost 2 years. When he found that one he got it anyway.

Dang, I kinda like the 300SL beeing a sucker for rare colors, and BTW, it's basically Israeli flag's colors ;)
