Let`s hope they won`t cheat , or use technology stolen from other manufacturers

^^^ In WRC , I think it was 1995, they`ve been excluded from the championship for engine irregularities , and in F1 for using some technology stolen from Ferrari .

With Toyota in NASCAR, will we see the return of 30" tall spoilers?

They are all pushrod carb engines... but they are not 48 year old engines ;) As nth points out, when a lightweight pushrod carb engine can make MORE horsepower than a over-compliated, heavier design - it is better not worse. You guys ar just still pissed to learn that a push rod V8 weighs less than an OHC 6... ;) |
The Toyota trucks haven't been the best, but have often been quick enough ;)
Racing and Camry shouldn't be used in the same sentence... :P ;) |

but when you heard "Nascar" you had in mind stock cars, built by some farmer with used parts and yahoos that use no helmet or safety devices. Now isn't like that :P |
Toyota has been participating in the Craftsman truck series so far. Let's see how they do in the higher rung
... not sure how this guy is gonna take it though http://www.wildpansy.net/images/hairy%20back.JPG |
Ok, 1st off I have to make it known that I am somewhat of a fan of NASCAR. I went to the Daytona 500 a year ago and I must saythat it was an awesome time.
That being said, the sight of a Toyota Camry based NASCAR would be fucking hillarious. I'd love to see it, just for the laughs. It might go like hell, may even win a race or two, but it would still be funny as hell. |
