Shaving Cuts...........pain in the ass!

Blah! I was shaving this morning and was lining up my side burns, and bam I did my usual "press real hard on the skin to make a perfectly straight line up" and bam I cut my self...

Now I have an inch long cut on my cheek! Dammit!

Whats the worst you ever got it? For me this is the worst.

right where the bottom of your chin meets your neck, where all that stupid usless hair grows, I got about a 2cm long cut, ever since then it has been all electric!
but I don't really have thick hair, I am jewish but thank god for my german roots and the fine hair :P

ive never cut myself...
i know u may be sayin hes 17... how much can he have so shave... bit well i grow more than u think.... really..
and well i start with electric when its long... and after is short i just finish it off with the razor so its not very hard... and well ive never cut myself.. i dont see how you can.. i mean you so straight... not sideways and i dont c how you could cut urself... but i know it will happen someday which will suk casue eveyronw will be like whats that...?

I've sliced the adams apple a few times, god that's annoying. It just loves to keep bleeding
I'm not convinced on the electric shavers, they wouldn't cut anywhere near as close as a decent blade?
Also my friends have varying opinions on direction, i shave down on the face, yet i stroke the blade upward on the neck.. This eliminates shaving rash most of the time personally.

i like to stick to the electric most of the time its more convenient. though i have to use a blade on my neck. But if i have a date or something where i need to look good ill go with a blade all around. and i shave against the grain it hurts a little more but i think it is much closer.

A good electric does the trick - i've stopped using razors since I clipped my monroe mole :| damn that sucked

saadie 12-05-2005 02:49 AM

corpse_grinder0 12-05-2005 02:49 AM

if im shaving everday I can use the electric other wise I have to use a razor, but ive never had any problems with cutting myself.

I use Mach3 and I haven't cu myself in a long time now. Once I managed to cut my lip...now that's what I call bleeding :(

Stikz 12-05-2005 04:37 AM

to avoid cuts, make sure the skin is very moist and always shave with the grain. Against the grain, its probably just a matter of time till you cut yourself. :D

I swear I saw a title that read "Shaving Cunts......"........ :P

nthfinity 12-05-2005 11:32 AM

well, hmm.... my largest cut has never been more then a milimeter or two... and bleed time, never more then a few minutes. :-D

the only one that happens every now and then is a mole-ish type thing under my nose, above my lip. i cut it ever few months or so... usually when the blade is running dull.

damn, i need a new blade soon
