help with winrar and opening .rar files
i'm having a little trouble extracting a video from the archive, partly because i have no idea what the FUCK i'm doing. so a little help would be appreciated from anybody pretty please thank you

You should be able to click on the rar file and it pops a window up select extract from the top left end of window, then select a spot you want the file to un-rar to. easy.
|
Well, you double click the rar file (part 1 if there are 2 parts), winrar will open. Now you just click "extract" on the top left corner, you choose where to unrar the file and it's done...

ok first of all^^^^that car is hot
second of all i already tried what you guys have suggested, and i keep getting this : http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...b/fbcc170c.jpg |
did u extract the first file first?
|
Yeah, I usually extract the first part, not the second and never had problems...
|
Heh, I can't help you with your problem, it worked fine for me. But why do you have a folder named you're kinda ugly man?
I do it by selecting both files, right clicking, choose extract files and then hit OK. |
^^^i like to make up random names for my folders so my sister and brother think i'm weird

LOL, here is the problem: you can't unrar if you don't have both parts :)
|
He has both parts, just hi lite the yellow folder and extract it that way, .rar needs both files to be in same folder to start with and then it should work. If it still screws up try repairing the file, the repair tool is in one of the drop down menus in the Rar tool bar.
