Need Help on my new comp setup...
 

Anyways, i just got myself a ASUS a8v Delux motherboard with the amd 4000+ cpu, with dual channel 1 gig ddrram...i got 2 maxtor 100gig sata drives raided, my problem is that wenever i install bios, and try to install windows, wen windows tries to install, it freezes...need help, quick!!! help!!!

did u install the raid driver disk provided by asus motherboard? u know F6..then install driver

yeah thats a good point as its often easy to forget the first time your loading a new machine

yeah, i did...unless my floppys are fuked up...

nope, its not my raid, i tried installing with and without my raid...

How far along does the comp get into the install?

once it gets right into the install of windows....

does it stop when its up too detecting hardware?

if so it could be a piece of hardware is faulty or there's a conflict..

im assuming your trying to load windows xp?

yes, tryin to load windows...basically right after it says to click to install, it freezes

finally got it workin...it was my windows cd...wat via chipset?
