Some more street sightings, mostly from last month some time. :D
All 20 high-res pics can be viewed on my website  www.ozcarsightings.com Firstly that 328GTS again - your probably sick of seeing it by now. :P However he lives on the same street as me so I see him fairly often..... :) http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...28GTS-(26).jpg 996 Turbo Cab. :D http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...riolet(11).jpg 996 MkII GT3  - the first time I can remember blanking out a plate sitting on the dashboard. http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...6-GT3-(31).jpg Awesome blue 4200GT - with a 3200GT parked nearby (you can see it in the side shot) :D http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...200GT-(39).jpg SL600, V12 beast! http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...-SL600-(2).jpg SLK55, finally back to my favourite location overlooking the city http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...5-AMG-(20).jpg E46 M3 http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...46-M3-(90).jpg Audi A8 - not very common here, and it's also Consular Corpe car. :D http://www.ozcarsightings.com/preview/AudiA8(1).jpg All 20 high-res pics can be viewed on my website  www.ozcarsightings.com |

Top stuff as always! The SLK55's shot is brillant.. if only there wasn't that damn SUV beside it :( still ice! BTW, I often notice "different" plates on some of the cars. Can I have some details? I mean, the most common one seem the small and black one, that can also have various sizes (see the 360CS), but there are also other ones (not talking about the CC). Just curious!

There are a ton of options regarding plates here, the standard one is the whats on my car for example http://img362.imageshack.us/img362/5...wrx82jl.th.jpg then you have a range of custom plates, here is a link to some of them  http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/licensing/plates/custom.html and then :P you have the new Euro-style plates like these  http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/licensing/e...europlate.html There are other more obscure ones, but these are the most common. Hope that helps. :D |
Ah dang, so MANY ppl go for the white on black option!
I'd like to see some orange ones :!: Anyway... what an useless mess :D it's true that it's nice to match car and plate, but still... BTW, are down there plates related to the owner, or to the car? I mean, when you change car you keep your plate like here or the plate stays on the car "forever"? |

The plates are related to the car generally, I'm currently selling my old car (the Commodore) and the custom plates will stay on that for the new owner. However if I wanted to I could take those custom plates off and keep them, and put some standard ones on it and sell it like that. |
Ok I see down there you basically can do whatever you want with your plates :D

LOL! What about having two completely different plates on the same car? Or 4 plates, adding also two on the sides? I bet it is allowed :D

Nice pics of the 328, again :P
A nice M3... not seen many in such loud colours for a while. Why has the 996 Turbo cab deiver put the hard-top on? Its not exactly winter in your hemisphere :? Sexy GT3 too... much nicer than a bright red/yellow paint job Finally, the SLK pic is fantastic. You have such great views of the city from across the water, it is such an amazing setting 8) Thanks for posting/hosting 8) |
