one of the properties of carbon fiber along with its strength is its ability to absorb energy and there for shattering into millions of pieces.. which is why there is very little left of this enzo intact and pieces of carbon scattered everywhere

It's really impressive how such an expensive car was totally destroyed. I don't remember seing a supercar destroyed this way....

It happened near Milan early on Sunday morning, and unfortunately the 41yo driver was killed. :(
