Ferrari Club Trackday - F40, F50, F430, 360 Challenge ++
These are the pics from the track day which followed the Concorso (pics of which I posted) last week.
It was a wonderful day, despite some rain, since the event was not made public there were only a handful of spectators. We were allowed access to whatever we wanted, so I was able to stand on the pit wall only metres from these beasts flying past!! :D A couple of short videos, fairly low quality to keep the size down - but you here that glorious sound. 360 Challenge, F50 and 550 Barchetta out of the last corner and onto the main straight :arrow: http://www.ozcarsightings.com/360C_F50_550B.WMV (2.5MB) A pair of 360 Modenas and a 355.....lovely sound! :arrow: http://www.ozcarsightings.com/360x2_355.WMV (5MB) All 86 high-res pics can be viewed on my website :arrow: www.ozcarsightings.com F40 - sadly it didn't spend all that much time on the track. :bah: http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...rackday(2).jpg http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...rackday(3).jpg The car which is still in my dreams a week after the ride, it posted the 2nd fastest time of the day... http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...rackday(4).jpg http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...rackday(5).jpg 360 Challenge - was 1sec a lap faster than the F50, and was definately the best sounding car out there IMO. :love: http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...rackday(6).jpg One of a couple of 550's.... http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...rackday(7).jpg http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...ackday(8a).jpg 512M, the owner also has a 456GT. :D http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...rackday(9).jpg F430 - I found out it belongs to a guy who works in the same building as my brother. :twisted: http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...ackday(10).jpg http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...ackday(11).jpg 355, looking good with black Speedline wheels. :drool: http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...ackday(12).jpg A nice selection of 360's, making a glorious sound as always. :D http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...ackday(13).jpg http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...ackday(14).jpg http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...ackday(15).jpg and a bunch of oldies..... http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...ackday(16).jpg http://www.ozcarsightings.com/previe...ackday(17).jpg All 86 high-res pics can be viewed on my website :arrow: www.ozcarsightings.com |
Great pics. Ferraris dressed in water droplets look really good. I really like the detailed pic of the F40's Ferrari logo with the droplets hanging on it! The panning shots are looking great as well.
Thanks for the vids as well. I'm sure the 360 Challenge was the loudest :) Did you had the change to get a ride in one of them on the track? |
Thanks for the pics dingo.
It is always good to see f40's pics. :drool: |

It was a shame, as I surely would've got a ride somewhere - at "worst" in the F50 again. :bah: |
The F40 pics are mouth watering :shock: my wallpeper now :)
And all the track action!! The F50 looks great 8) My favourite pic, besides the F40 is the engine pic, with the water droplets on the see trough hood. The 355 with speedline wheels :D a cool looking thingy 8) Wasn't the black Dino caught by you on the streets a while back? |
an other very good set of pics. In addition, the detail pcs with the rain are really nice.
I really like the rear view of the "warwick"... Quote:

I've seen it a few times since then on the street, seems like he uses it regularly. :good: |
Very nice set of pics, Ferraris on track are a nice sight, especially the Barchetta which is not so common out there!
BTW, not wanting to be picky, but I always noticed on most of your panning shots that the quality of the pic become way more grainy than usual, But it's not like ISO grain, it's like bigger, not really sure how to explain, but well, it's something which isn't there at all in static pics. I would understand blurryness and of course on panning shots the quality isn't always top notch, but in some cases it is really weird, just me? Nonetheless, most pics ended up in my Ferrari folder :D |

As you say its not ISO grain, as thats set on 50 most of the time in my case - maybe something particular to my camera. :? |
Looking good there dude, i love your new sig, had me confused for a second there as it blends in really really smooth and nice!
The photos came out quite nice i thought, look very clean, this has to be my pick of the bunch: http://www.ozcarsightings.com/updates/fcatrackday/FCA_Trackday%20(7).jpg :D |
