For 2008 model year it gets a facelift, VW has gotten letters from people that claim that the Jetta looks toom much like a Corolla (his words not mine) so the Jetta gets a more EOS like front end and revised tail lamps (read Passat like)

GTI:

arrives on dealers lots in Feb with the 4 door arriving 6 months later

Golf:

Arrives at the same time as the GTI 4 door

R36:

arrives in 18 months (confirmed) with a 300HP version of the Passats engine

Eos:

Arrives in May

Jetta R36:

6 months after Golf R36

2008 model year we also get a "entry level car" when I said "is it the polo?" the guy smiled and said "maybe" . he also said that the Concept R is a go.
