The Aussi car market is on the rise, they are getting better but i cant stand those old commadore's

I cant stand most aussie cars, well not so much the cars, the drivers who think there top shit in a commodore or falcon...guy from work "man a FPV GT can shit all over a enzo on the track".....i didnt know where to start correcting him first so i walked away.

i'll second that, they say ohh the FPV GT will kill an ezno. Then i say it has a V12. And they say "they have V12's now?, the must fly" and tehy all compare there top of the range models to teh bottom end ferrari the 360. If you think they are that good race an enzo!

yeh same dude, ohhh well people will always have there opinions.. even if they are wrong!!! hahaha

The Monaro I think qualifies as a genuine performance car. This car has one both Bathurst 24 hour races held so far. Beating such cars as Ferrari Lambo, Porsche and Mosler.

yes but those monaros arent in the same league as the lambo's and ferrari's. they are basicaly 2 door v8 supercars

That where people are getting this car mixed up,Its no V8 supercar.The car has different engine,Different Ratios,Different gearbox,Different Rear Suspension then a V8 Supercar...Go Figure.

ain't no V8 supertaxi but sure ain't a full blooded monaro. its basically a supercar with a monaro skin. i mean do you see other cars in the nation cup making drastic changes to the car so it can compete with others?

That whole race is fucken rigged.....it is ment for cars that can be purcashed straight from the dealer...where the fuck can you buy a 7.3L monaro? its not even a fricken production car...man that pisses me off...

Well,The Viper is the same.It has Bigger Brakes,Bigger Fuel Tank,Hollinge gear box,etc.

Check out Clarkson's review of the "Vauxhall" Monaro in the latest edition of Top Gear Mag. He seems to think the stock standard Monaro performs

those monaros were not illigally entered in those races because they were based on the 427 engine. and as it it didnt go into production it didnt really win.

Clarkson review the hsv GTS ages ago,and he reckon it was like a Aston Martin Vantage V8.This was back in 1999 in Head to Head.
