WhiteP 11-25-2003 03:49 AM

neither, can you add this option to the poll?

altezza 11-25-2003 04:57 AM

i prefer to have a real one

Chingachgook 11-25-2003 06:42 AM

A real one is better, but look at Cobra's replicas... are very very similar to the real ones and are also approved by Carrol Shelby, and costs 150k dollars..are yes replicas, but as near as the original ones that I can imagine

TT 11-25-2003 06:51 AM

About the Cobra, maybe I won't mind a replica, but I'd never dare to vote on this poll :D

BADMIHAI 11-25-2003 08:45 AM

I'd rather have a real one..preferably a Ferrari. But a replica...still a Ferrari. :)

levensnevel 11-25-2003 09:05 AM

Ferrari nor Lamborghini,

I'll settle for this

stradale 11-25-2003 10:01 AM

Some Ferrari replica's can fool you, but only at first glance. Look again and you can see that it's a replica. I've never seen a convincing Lamborghini replica.

For that alone I would never want to own one. But the biggest problem with replica's is that you want to own the real thing and when you buy a replica you're driving around in some nightmare like a Pontiac Fiero. So you basically end up driving a car that you hate. IMO a real enthusiast for Ferrari's or Lamborghini's is best off without one. Just stick with drooling over real ones if you can't afford them.

Like TT said, a Cobra replica is not that bad. Also a replica of a classic Maserati racer (I saw one once) with a real Maserati chassis and a real Maserati racing engine, but with new coachwork is a replica, technically speaking, because it isn't original. But that kind of replica I'm not so much against.

BTW, levensnevel, I overtook one of those Jag C-type replica's on the A4 somewhere in august this year. An amazing sight...

PATo355 11-25-2003 10:01 AM

exotic_bugatti 11-30-2003 02:31 AM

i bet none of you can afford a real ferrari or a lamborghini but i preffer to drive both because i have replicas of both and nobody has asked me if their replicas.

TT 11-30-2003 07:25 AM

LOL, I bet at least one of us drive both.. and the real things ;)
