you're watching SCI-FI too much   ... he just went down the hill, so he didn't need to step on the gas

I heard it - sounds great

changes in pressure change the direction the sound is moving, the sound would've been great, but in going downhill, already directing the sound away from you, the sound slowed, and could've been much louder some distance above where you were... but, thats not what happened

he simply wasnt on the throttle, and after seeing several F430's... thats what they sound like (guessing) around 3500 revs, just more then constant velocity.

one guy driving through brighton was haning around 6500 around town, sounded amazing 8)

I've heart it, it was great and quit loud

riconijhof 10-08-2005 05:40 PM

The driver had it set in some city mode/normal driving. Not sure how it's called, but not the sports or race mode. 360's have an exhaust valve, normally it opens up around 3500 rpm and thats when you get the loud noise. As this CS was clearly hitting the rev limiter I have no clue why the valves didn't open.. :|

I think it is because american versions of the CS make less noice than European versions. Didn't knew it was this much difference
