When I bought the car the valve cover was standard black.
I had it polished but it seems that turned out to be a bad idea
The polishing part is quite easy but after a couple of day it turns completely black again. (well kind a dark grey anyway).
It's some kind of magnesium alloy.

I've driven a cossie turbo powered Dax recently, and that was running about 290bhp on lo boost (not my car so he dropped it a little ;) ) but even so I had fun, so a quicker revving bike engined variant must be mental!

Ghostrider 2 featured a 499bhp Hayabusa naked bike, how's that for a starter. :)
