How!!!

deionized water doesnt conduct electricity... however, water is the natural solvent, and unless all the electronics are gold plated, they will corrode, and ionize the water, thus destroying the components... its also possible that the liquid is another which doesnt conduct electricity at all?

~i wouldn't try it

Thanks for the explanation dude :D
Only now I realized that is not water, appear to be some sort of cooking oil....

yeah, it's no water, but an oil :) I don't know how special it is, but I guess it comes from those bottles on the pic.

I already heard about something like that. It's better than air for cooling, but also for the processor to work faster. If I remember right, people got a 200 Mhz processor to over twice that speed :o

thast deffinetly not water .... just look at the color

freddiefish 09-25-2005 11:57 AM

it's oil from plants like oliveoil. Look at the bottles next to the screen

styla21 09-27-2005 03:05 AM

Notice the conveniently located hookah in the background .. Related?

The oil does look like cooking oil, and it's really plausible that it doesn't conduct eletricity.. but surely it would mess with a chipset somehow? Any more info a007?

^ Cooking oil doesn't mean boiling oil
