Honda Accord 2004 Modification
 

What modifications would you recommend for a Honda Accord 2004 model 4 door full option, leather interior electric seats and so on.. alloy rims as well 16 inch.. recommend some good modifications which don't really cost that much. Plus the car is still under the company warranty so nothing too major of a change..

is this the shitty american designed accord or the japanese accord?

if its the former then get a whole new suspension kit

but if its under warranty i wouldn't do anything yet. just changing seatbelts can cause an engine blowup in their minds.

Yeah, too bad it is still under warranty. If not Jackson Racing Supercharger would do nicely.

If not then, go intake, headers, exhaust.

Suspension, like Dani said, Eibach springs and Bilstein/Koni/Tokico would do.

hehe... true true... none taken.... guys a quick question. to adjust not the headlights but the high beams i want to know if there is a screw in like for the head lights to by any chance get the light up higher or lower... peace!! 8)

i would look into the factory suspension and body modifications that honda offers for both the civic and the accord. that way it stays under warranty. :D

Not to dig up a slightly old topic but you know we get BOTH versions of the Accord in the US? the Accord is the American version and the European/Japanese version is called the Acura TSX.

We get quite a few Honda/Acura performance parts modded cars at work and I have to say that the genuine factory aftermarket parts are a great choice since there is no chance they will void a warranty if installed at a dealer or by a professional and records are kept.

Quite honestly I dont understand why youd bother to mod it in the first place.. Its never going to be that great(its an accord) and its your daily driver .. 2 strikes..

Then the biggest strike of them all, modding voids warrenty(definitily on the new parts, but also on anything they could effect) and will lower your cars resale value. If you really want to go mod happy why not buy a toy second car or start with something a little more mod worthy..


I know what Im saying is considered blasphamy by some of you but I think that same line of thought every time I see a honda civic or accord with some modifications. We won't even get into new cars that aren't even the slightest bit sporty. Now there are of course exceptions, for instance road racing in a honda specific class, but otherwise I just dont get it. Its more expensive to do it that way at the end of the day(especially with the newer model, and it destroys the entire benefit of a honda, reliability and family economy) For this very reason other then stuff to save me gas mileage Ill never mod the 6.. Ill buy a toy car to do that too while I drive the 6..

Oh well.. my vote.. save you cash and buy a first gen miata... insurance companies rate a second car as a regular car rather then as a sports car or performance car (how I was paying 400 a year for a camaro before I sold it)
