I don't know what happened, but for some reason, my MediaPlayer won't play complete videos anymore. It turns black part-way through with only sound. Any ideas on how I can fix that?

lol, you too? i think u posted in the wrong forum.. but it sounds like a codecs problem.. just update the latest codecs that need to be aquired.. mainly divx, xvid, and ogg is mainly used on this forum

thats a codec problem..

if its a wmv file it might be you need to uopgrade to wmp10 if you dont already have it

and I regret the day I installed wmp10... :|
you should try the k-lite codec pack. It also has a media player that doesn't eat so much resources
