Funny new laws in Louisiana
 

Today 238 new ways to get busted went into effect. While all them are serious, they are going to seem funy to outsiders.

1) The new crime of "theft of crawfish" comes into existence. If the value of the crawfish stolen is less than $100, the perpetrator can be fined up to $500 and spend six months in jail; if the crawfish is worth more than $500, the penalty is up to 10 years in prison and a $3,000 fine.

2) i didn't know you couldn't do this before :| :You can videotape your will, as long as you are sworn in by a qualified person.

3) A duplicate driver's license must be accepted by the seller of alcoholic beverages. [As if they card here anyway]
